@ Edison Park

Salutes Those In Uniform

at Oliphant & Olmsted

Chicago

NORTHSIDE @ 7:30pm - 9:30pm

The Edison Park Community Council, the Edison Park Chamber of Commerce, and Alderman Anthony Napolitano are hosting a Salute To Those in Uniform event on July 7, 2018. The event will take place on Oliphant and Olmsted Avenues and will include live music, drinks, food trucks, kids activities, and more.

On Sunday, July 8th, Immaculate Conception Parish Chicago (Talcott) will host a 9:30AM mass dedicated to those in uniform, with a pancake breakfast to follow.

As a community that is home to so many first responders, military personnel, and veterans, we feel strongly that their dedication to keeping us safe should be recognized. In that spirit, we are raising funds to be donated, equally, to the Brotherhood for the Fallen, Ignite the Spirit, and Salute Inc., charities that help our uniformed professionals in the same way they help us.

All active and retired police, firefighters/paramedics, and military personnel will receive an appreciation wristband with three free beers and a free raffle ticket. Must show ID.

Schedule of Events:

11am: Opening prayer with Fr. Dan Brandt, CPD Chaplain & Color Guard

11:15am: Presentations by Salute Inc., Ignite the Spirit,

& Brotherhood for the Fallen
